We are seeking a Band 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with strong experience in Clinical Chemistry. This senior role directly influences patient outcomes, supports service development, and contributes to training and quality improvement. You’ll provide expert knowledge, advise clinical teams, and lead a team of clinical nurse specialists to deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care across the Liverpool University Hospital Trust (LUFT).
* Assess patients and plan, implement and evaluate care using specialist clinical knowledge and skills
* Review patients and provide care in outpatient and day‑ward settings
* Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient management
* Provide education and support to patients, carers and colleagues
* Lead a team of clinical nurse specialists
* Participate in audit, research, and service development within the service
