Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Consultant, NHS based in Ashford, East Kent. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of inpatient psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide psychiatric care to patients referred to the Liaison Psychiatry Service and contribute to cross cover
* To provide medical expertise within the Multidisciplinary Liaison Team
* To act as a Responsible Clinician (Approved Clinician status) for patients detained under the MHA to the acute trust
* To ensure effective liaison occurs between mental health services and the acute hospital, and also with other agencies in the voluntary and statutory sectors as appropriate

Requirements:
* Full GMC License to practice
* Right to Work in the UK
* Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
* Section 12/RC approval is essential
