We are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for an iconic hotel in Bournemouth.
As a Maintenance Manager, you should be organized, confident, proactive, and experienced in property maintenance with a keen eye for detail. You will work across the hotel to ensure smooth operations.
Main duties and expectations include:
* Possessing strong plumbing, basic electrical skills, portable appliance testing, decorating, and general property maintenance skills, with the ability to train others in these disciplines.
* Understanding compliance in hospitality and hotels, including risk assessments, project management, and supervising contractors.
* Liaising with the Management Company to adopt best practices for daily management.
* Ensuring work carried out by staff or contractors meets hotel standards and following up on deficiencies.
* Carrying out timely repairs throughout the hotel, coordinating with third parties when necessary.
* Responding promptly to housekeeping maintenance requests.
* Completing reports, returns, and documentation accurately and on time.
* Being on call as required to maintain hotel services for guests and the business.
