Salary: Soulbury Scale A points 3–8: £46,525– £56,540, plus up to 3 SPAs. It is expected that the successful candidates will start from point 5. Working 36.5 hours per week.

About the service
We are expanding the city’s Educational Psychology Service to meet high demand. The service provides professional psychological services for children, young people, and families across a wide range of educational settings, working with over 450 schools. We value diversity of approach and professional development, with opportunities to take on leadership roles within the service.
We work closely with the local authority, schools, and partner agencies and value collaboration and peer supervision within a supportive, inclusive team.
Responsibilities (illustrative)
We are committed to applying psychology to support the learning, development and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. Roles involve working at individual, small/whole-group, staff, parent, or systemic levels within an inclusive team.
Qualifications and requirements
* Applicants must be HCPC registered Educational Psychologists and/or Trainee EPs who are currently in Year 3 of their Doctoral course.
* Proficiency in applying psychological principles within educational settings and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
