Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with multi-academy trusts across Weston-Super-Mare, who are looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants. We are looking for both full and part-time candidates. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children, whether that's as a teaching assistant or other work involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs. The successful applicant: Have a sound understanding of Primary and Secondary Education Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills Have confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1. Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
