2 different levels between £400 - £595 per day

Corsham (2-3 days per week onsite, the rest remotely)
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to support the internal service wrap within Corsham. Your role will include aligning with the service wrap being provided by Google, following OSM practices.
You will shape how services are delivered across the organisation, ensuring that internal systems, platforms, and programmes.
You will influence cloud and service strategy while staying close to day-to-day operations. Defence experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Work to align the Service Wrap for the MOD.
* Lead and evolve Service Delivery with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform operations, governance, and optimisation.
* Ensure effective service integration between GCP, on-premise systems, and secure Defence environments.
* Own ITIL-aligned processes across
Incident, Request, Change, Problem, and Escalation
, embedding GCP-specific best practices where appropriate.
* Drive proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and forecasting, including cloud consumption, cost optimisation, and performance management.
* Manage cloud and technology suppliers, holding them to contractual obligations, KPIs, and secure-service standards.
* Develop the Service Management Operational Strategy and communicate updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
* Experience in a Service Delivery / Service Management leadership role within Defence.
* Strong understanding of ITIL.
* Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and Operational Service Management practices.
* Experience managing suppliers within strict SLAs and improving service performance in cloud or hybrid hosting contexts.
* Knowledge of public cloud (ideally Google Cloud Platform).
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
