Care Assistant (Female Applicants Only - Client Request)Drivers Preferred, Non-Drivers Considered
The role includes 12-hour day shifts and sleeping night shifts as part of a 7-day rota, ensuring consistent one-to-one care.
About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a lady with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia with:
* ? Personal care and transfers (using a banana board)
* ? Monitoring blood pressure and using a cough assist when required
* ? Attending physiotherapy appointments
* ? Accompanying her on outings and visits to family
* ? Light household tasks and providing emotional support
Shifts & Pay:
* Day Shifts: 12 hours (rotational)
* Sleeping Nights: 7 nights a week available- Block pay
Who We’re Looking For:
* ? Previous experience in personal care and mobility assistance (training available)
* ? Kind, patient, and dependable
* ? Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and sleep-in duties
* ? A driver is preferred (client’s mobility vehicle available), but non-drivers will be considered
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in a care or support role within the past 3 years
* Passion for providing person-centred, compassionate care
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay £55 for a new check
* Completion of a 1-day practical training session and online eLearning prior to starting
Job Types:
Full-time | Part-time | Zero-hours contract
Pay:
* Day Shifts: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour
* Sleeping Nights: £75 per night (10 PM - 9 AM)
Expected Hours: 12 - 40 per week

* Day shifts
* Sleeping nights
* Weekend availability
* Overtime
