About the Role: The Finance Assistant will be responsible for processing consumer/solicitor payments, remitting funds to clients and processing consumer/solicitor refunds. There will also be periodic reconciliation tasks. Key Responsibilities: Process daily posting of consumer payments to Orca debt management system for Liverpool entity. Process regular client remit payments according to SLAs for Liverpool entity. Complete daily bank and funding sheet reconciliations of client trust bank accounts for Liverpool entity and post into NetSuite. Complete monthly NetSuite bank reconciliation process on client trust and suspense bank accounts. Process refunds to consumers and debt management companies for Liverpool entity. Meet the goals and objectives as set out by Management. Ad hoc projects and assignments as allocated by the Payment Processing Manager, Global Finance Director or Global CFO. Essentials Skills and Experience Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry Drive to develop and expand role relevant knowledge Good written and verbal communication skills Detailed orientated, able to multi-task Strong customer service skills Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word (training will be provided on accounting system) Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach Ability to work with minimal supervision. Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm.
