As an Assistant Store Manager at Vision Express, you’ll support the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store. This can include managing the team, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation. You’ll assist with administrative tasks such as stock ordering and management, cash handling and reporting. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring the store meets the business objectives. Responsibilities
* Show strong leadership and management skills to support colleagues in store
* Maintain great communication and rapport with customers to translate professional terminology into understandable language
* Ensure accurate customer records, prescriptions and requirements to provide the best service and product recommendations
* Collaborate with the store team, including Eye Care Professionals, Optical Assistants and Management
* Work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
* Demonstrate confidence, passion, drive and enthusiasm
* Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
* Provide training and coaching to colleagues to align with the mission to help customers ‘See More and Be More’
