Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional support to residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support residents in daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility.
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation to ensure personalised care for each resident.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to provide updates on resident well-being.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a supportive environment.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss resident needs and care strategies.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care environment at all times.
* Administrating medication.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable.
* Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for this role.
* Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care plans and documentation is beneficial.
