Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all garments are crafted to the highest standards. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where precision and efficiency are key. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to manage materials and work effectively within our production team.
Responsibilities
* Sew, alter, and repair garments according to specifications.
* Follow patterns, sketches, or design instructions to produce custom pieces.
* Operate and maintain sewing machines, Lockstitch & Overlocker.
* Select appropriate threads, and materials for garments.
* Perform hand-sewing and finishing techniques when needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Ensure quality control by checking seams, hems, and garment construction.
* Communicate with designer, or supervisors to meet expectations and deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sewing, using industrial machines.
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Familiarity with various fabrics and sewing techniques is desirable.

* Must be available to come into our premises for a trial to demonstrate compentancy with machines and showcase skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
