Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Derbyshire. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, continuous improvement projects, and state-of-the-art production lines, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term progression.
Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
* Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
* Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
* Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
* Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
* Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
