Behaviour Mentor – Birmingham Pay: £90 – £110 per day (PAYE) Contract: Full-time / Long-term Start Date: Immediate or ASAP Help students find their calm and confidence. We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. This role is perfect for someone who’s calm under pressure, patient by nature, and passionate about helping young people make positive choices inside and outside the classroom. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll: Support students displaying challenging behaviour, helping them re-engage with learning Work 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence, resilience, and self-regulation Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SENCO to deliver behaviour strategies Model positive relationships and encourage emotional wellbeing Track progress and celebrate every small success You’ll make a real difference to students who need consistency, understanding, and someone who sees their potential — not just their behaviour. About You We’d love to hear from you if you have: Experience working with children or young people (in schools, youth work, or mentoring) A calm, confident approach with strong communication and empathy skills The ability to de-escalate situations and build meaningful relationships A genuine passion for supporting inclusion and emotional development Whether you’ve worked in education before or are looking to move into a school-based role, full training and ongoing support are provided.
