Shift Pattern: 8 positions7-00 – 14;30 & 8 positions 16;00 to 19;00
Pay: £12.21 per hour Monday - Friday, Saturday and nights 17.22 per hour and Sunday £22.34 per hour

We are looking for Ward Hosts to join our friendly team. Our Ward Hosts team provide and maintain the highest standard of service to patients, visitors and staff, ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness, safety and care at all times.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and catering services throughout the hospital and designated wards or departments in line with the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS and provide a catering service in accordance with the Food Safety Regulations and Food Hygiene Regulations.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE.
Duties will include
* Ensure a timely and accurate response to all cleaning requests.
* Working as part of a ward-based team responsible for the provision of food and beverage service to patients.
* To regenerate food, maintaining appropriate temperature records and serve meals following advice from clinical staff.
* Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and serving area, including crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and food trolley.
* Ensure adequate provisions are supplied to ward kitchen area and maintain appropriate records relating to stock control.
You’ll have the following skills/experience
* Must have Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
* Knowledge of cleaning/hygiene COSSH procedures.
* Experience cleaning in a domestic environment including knowledge of cleaning procedures and processes.
* Experience of Working/communicating with the general public.
* Experience of working in a healthcare environment advantageous.
