We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring health and safety compliance and the achievement of key performance targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
* To directly assist the Senior Management team by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
* To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, always maintaining standards of excellence
* To track and trace orders using a digital In-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
* Oversight of kitting and goods out department ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner to customer specification
* Conducting 1-2-1's, return to works and development planning for members of staff
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Previous experience of people management within a warehouse or supply chain environment is essential
* Strong communicator - both written and verbal
* Good IT experience- using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
