Job Purpose
* The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for managing store cleaning services for approximately 23+ small format convenience stores in the Home Counties area.
* Ensure delivery of KPIs and Weekly Store Services Checks to defined standards, taking corrective action as needed.
* Recruit and train Store Cleaning staff in the area, ensuring recruitment and training align with company processes.
* Manage area and store costs within budget, adhering to Health & Safety requirements.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact.
* Conduct weekly and monthly cleaning audits.
* Handle HR issues as they arise.
Candidate’s background & experience
* Experience in cleaning within food retail or small format retail environments.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Proficient in IT tools such as Excel, Word, and Email.
The role is full-time, permanent, and involves 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays.
Candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced, demanding environment and be prepared to be hands-on when required.
Applicants must have a full, valid driving licence, reside in or around the Home Counties, and be willing to travel daily.
