Streetworks Coordinator Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Street Works Technician to join our friendly team helping to keep Somerset moving whether you already have some experience, or more importantly, youre looking to start a career in highways, traffic management, or public service.
What youll be doing Streetworks Coordinator Assisting with road closures, permits and network coordination
Providing basic technical advice (with support from senior colleagues)
Using digital tools, mapping systems and databases
Preparing maps, plans, tables and reports
Supporting colleagues with administration and accuracy checking
Dealing with members of the public and helping to resolve urgent highways issues
Attending meetings and occasional site visits as needed
About you Streetworks Coordinator Streetworks Coordinator We offer full training, so prior experience in Street Works isnt required just a willingness to learn and develop. Youll succeed in this role if you are:
Customer-focused and confident communicating with a variety of people
Organised, enthusiastic and ready to take on new challenges
Comfortable using ICT and willing to learn new systems
Able to hold a valid driving licence
