What you’ll do on a typical day:
Act as the central liaison for occupational health surveillance & drug and alcohol across the business
* Coordinate scheduling and delivery of surveillance activities in collaboration with QHSE / HR Managers
* Maintain oversight of surveillance compliance and escalate gaps or risks appropriately
* Work closely with HR Managers to ensure alignment between health surveillance and individual colleague needs
* Support HR Support Services & QHSE in managing the relationship with the Occupational Health / Drug and Alcohol service provider by providing operational insight and feedback
* Produce regular reports and dashboards for senior leadership and compliance purposes
* Track and monitor actions from audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to occupational health
* Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and guidance documents
* Raise purchase orders and manage subscriptions or memberships related to occupational health services
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in logistics, health & safety, or HR administration (preferably in a 3PL or similar environment)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Co-Pilot).
* IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
* Willingness to travel occasionally across sites if required
