NDT Technician Location: Northamptonshire

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NDT Technician on a 12-Month FTC to join a leading high-performance engineering organisation operating within the motorsport and advanced manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing across a range of critical components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and structural integrity are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with EN4179/PCN Level 2 standards across multiple techniques.
* Carry out Ultrasonic A-Scan inspections (Phased Array experience advantageous).
* Conduct Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Visual Inspections to verify component integrity.
* Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, ensuring all documentation meets industry and company standards.
* Support the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
* Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to communicate results and support continuous improvement.
* Work efficiently under pressure to meet demanding production and quality targets with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179 / PCN) across key techniques.
* Proven expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array knowledge beneficial).
* Proficiency in Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Visual Inspection.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
* Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective when working to tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and professional attitude.
* Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
* Experience within Formula One, high-level motorsport, or aerospace industries is highly desirable.
