We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer for our client based in Derry/Londonderry (Lisahally). The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: 26th Nov
Rate of pay: £13.75
Duration: uo tp 51 weeks
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week
The contracted hours are 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis. However, at present staff are working various shift patterns between 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday.
No holidays can be accommodated in the first 12 weeks of employment due to the training for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Universal Credit AO Admin role for DWP Dispute Resolution Services
2. Accessing Universal credit “build” to identify correct To Do’s relating to Mandatory Reconsiderations (Appeals) received from customers.
3. Understand which decision type relates to which site and team.
4. All To Dos should be moved in a chronological order to ensure work is cleared in accordance with guidance
5. Clear appropriate case scan – this is done to ensure no MRs are missed
6. Liaise with jobcentres/Service centres via designated email in-box
7. Maintain Intake as work comes in throughout the day
8. Check activities via our 26 Service Centres to find any unsupported MRs
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
9. five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.

10. Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. Proven ability to use own initiative.
