My client a leading global law firm are looking for a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join their wider HR team on a 12-14 month FTC basis.
The HR & Recruitment Coordinator will be a key member of the HR team providing a key point of contact for candidates and employees, as well as internal stakeholders.Assisting in a broad and varied role, covering Lateral & Graduate recruitment, Onboarding and general HR support.
The key duties will include:
* Support the full graduate recruitment cycle, from attraction and assessment through to selection.
* Respond to incoming graduate recruitment queries, providing timely and professional communication.
* Coordinate onsite and offsite recruitment activities including law fairs, campus events, assessment days, and vacation schemes, ensuring strong candidate engagement.
* Serve as a key contact for trainee cohorts throughout their programme.
* Support cyclical processes such as seat rotations and mid-/end-of-seat feedback in collaboration with supervisors.
* Coordinate recruitment processes, working closely with hiring managers and external agencies.
* Draft and review job descriptions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with market standards.
* Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
* Partner with legal recruitment agencies, and executive search firms to manage lateral hiring processes.
* Oversee interview scheduling, candidate communications, and feedback collation.
* Manage the pre-employment screening process and complete Right To Work checks.
* Coordinate onboarding for all new trainees, including HR systems, payroll, desk space, and supervisor and mentor assignments.
The HR & Recruitment Coordinator will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm, with a full understanding of the process involved in trainee solicitor recruitment and development, you will be educated to a degree level and have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
