The Role
To ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to receipting, storage and despatch to the agreed standards and loading plans while keeping colleagues safe.
On Offer
* £14.50 per hour plus £1.99 shift allowance (total £16.49 per hour)
* Night Shift – 10pm to 6am
* 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
* Paid monthly
Responsibilities
* Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme
* Locate finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatch
* Unload incoming vehicles and rack away materials after acceptance and GRN generation
* Pick and assemble loads for dispatch and load outgoing vehicles as per loading despatch paperwork
* Work safely at all times, follow health and safety policies, and raise hazards through appropriate channels
* Maintain FIFO stock rotation
* Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing starter documentation and reporting damage per procedure
* Undertake training and assist with training of other colleagues; act as a buddy for new colleagues
You’ll need
* Good standard of education with literacy and numerical skills
* Clear English communication
* Experience in a similar role, working independently with minimal supervision
* Food Hygiene Accreditation desirable
* Counter balance / reach truck FLT licence
