The Role
We are seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor / Team Leader to oversee day‑to‑day production operations and support the wider team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.
A valid forklift licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily production activities
* Lead, motivate, and support the production team
* Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
* Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety
* Operate a forklift when required (loading/unloading materials)
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
* Support training and development of team members
* Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
Requirements
* Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
* Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience within food, ingredients, or FMCG sectors
* Knowledge of quality standards and compliance (e.g. HACCP)
