Reports to: Managing Director, London & South-East Regions
Location: Regional role looking after businesses in various locations across the region
based in Slough/Reading area

Manager to join the team.
Role Overview:
As a dynamic and results-driven manager you will lead and develop sales operations
across the London and Southeast region of The Coach Travel Group (CTG). This
encompasses Horseman Coaches, Stewarts Coaches, Ready Group and CTG Stansted.
This role is critical in delivering commercial growth, maintaining high client service
standards, and developing a proactive, target-focused sales culture.
Job Type: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: Base from £50,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Leadership: Lead, motivate and manage sales teams to exceed revenue
and conversion targets across all businesses.
* Performance Monitoring: Oversee and analyse sales KPIs including conversion
rates, private hire pipeline progression, and response times to quotations.
* Sales Process Compliance: Ensure full adherence to group sales processes,
including accurate quotation capture and follow-up.
* Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new lines of business to
grow market share across local region.
* Team Development: Coach and nurture the sales team to enhance capabilities
and performance in a target-driven environment.
* Client Management: Act as the primary escalation point for key accounts and
high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Tender Management: Lead or support the renewal of existing tenders and new
contract bids.
* Reporting & Strategy: Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting, providing
insights and updates for Board-level reporting.
* Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with other CTG operators to share
best practices and align commercial strategies.
* Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver
regional campaigns and promotional initiatives.
* Operational Alignment: Partner with regional operations teams to improve
communication, understand fleet availability, and streamline service delivery.
You:
* Proven experience in a commercial, sales leadership or business development
role within the transport, travel or related service sector.
* Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent analytical, reporting and forecasting skills.
* Confident communicator with strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of tendering processes and public/private sector contracting is
desirable.
* Comfortable managing competing priorities.
