Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Southwest (Tiverton)
Job type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum DOE + Commission up to £24,000 per annum + Car Allowance
About the opportunity
The Business Development Executive is a significant member of Airband's growth strategy – responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers and driving revenue growth. This is a pro-active role and will include analysing market trends to create strategies, identifying new sales leads, and working towards expanding the Airband's business customer base.
Responsibilities
* Identifying New Business Opportunities: Researching and identifying potential markets, customers and partnerships.
* Planning: Developing and implementing growth strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
* Sales and Marketing: Promoting the company's services, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
* Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
* Market Analysis: Analysing market trends and competitors to inform business development strategies.
* Team Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure cohesive business strategies.
* Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for senior management to track progress and inform decision-making.
Key Skills
* Previous experience in an outbound role.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* High levels of motivation and ambition.
* Able to meet sales targets and build robust client relationships.
* Good level of IT skills
* Ability to calculate rate cards and negotiate effectively
Who are we looking for?
* Passion and drive to exceed in a competitive environment.
* Proven Business Development experience.
* Evidence of being able to meet and exceed sales target.
* Must be able to drive/access various locations across the Airband geography.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development Executive role Ideally experience working in a Telecommunications company selling Broadband solutions.
* Knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
