Role Overview:
As a National Account Manager, you will develop and execute strategic commercial plans across key Cash & Carry and Travel convenience customers. You will build long-term partnerships, drive sales, increase brand visibility, and meet volume and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with major Cash & Carry customers and key Travel Retail Route to Market operators.
* Develop and implement annual joint business plans (JBPs) and promotional calendars aligned with brand and customer strategies.
* Achieve volume, NSV, and gross profit targets; collaborate on forecasting and demand planning.
* Enhance in-depot execution and visibility through activations, bespoke POS, and digital content.
* Manage relationships with Travel Retail Route to Market partners and execute promotional plans effectively.
* Negotiate pricing, promotional investments, and commercial terms in line with company strategy.
* Collaborate across marketing, operations, and finance teams for flawless execution.
* Use data and insights to inform decisions, evaluate performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Proven track record managing key national accounts in Cash & Carry channels (e.g., Booker, Bestway, Unitas, Costco).
* Experience with Travel retail and route-to-market customers.
* Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with P&L management experience.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated with initiative and drive.
* Analytical, insight-driven, with good knowledge of the UK spirits market.
* Experience in premium spirits, FMCG, or drinks industry.
* WSET qualification or passion for spirits and drinks categories.
