As a Senior NAM you will have an exciting range of food products on offer to sell to new and existing retail customers.
This business offers a unique mix of a small, successful and close knit business that sells to retail and foodservice customers across the UK but also operates as the regional division or major global food manufacturer and importer. The business provides an exciting range of grocery and frozen food products both brand and private label.
The role of Senior National Account Manager is key the success and next stage of growth. The role will manage several retail accounts with both the opportunity to manage and grow existing customers but also to look and re-engage with previous trading partners, building new business for the future.
Working closely with the MD and another Senior National Account Manager there is a cohesive team approach to develop the overall commercial strategy.
To be successful in the role you will:
1. Have a proven track record of selling food products in grocery retail customers
2. Have strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of winning business as well as managing customer accounts
3. Be a great communicator, highly numerate and have dynamic and driven approach to sales
4. Be passionate and excited about the food industry and food trends
This position will allow for flexible hybrid working, that means 1-2 days a week working from home.
