* Manage and coordinate the daily operations for Business & Industry (B&I) catering, bespoke race day catering, and hospitality services, ensuring high standards of food quality, timely service, and client satisfaction across all areas.
* Supervise a core team of 9 permanent employees in the Murrays B&I team and a dynamic race day catering team of 10-12 staff, providing leadership, training, and motivation to ensure effective teamwork and the smooth execution of all catering events.
* Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business.
* Be the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns and take any necessary action.
* Conduct appropriate business review meetings with relevant clients to ensure that all targets, objectives and service level agreements are being met.
* Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
* Prepare, produce and present a monthly financial report for the Operations Managers/Directors detailing financial performance, activity and plans for the relevant site and outlining any necessary action that has been taken.
* Keep up to date with all COSHH and HACCP procedures and methods. Previous experience within Contract Catering is essential.
* Excellent client relationship management.
* Organised with great attention to detail especially when it comes to finance.
* Innovative and creative, experienced within the 3 service styles we offer – race catering, hospitality and retail.
* Strong financial acumen – proficient in Excel.
* Attention to detail is a must.
* Must be enthusiastic about data and analytics.
* Adaptable and flexible to suit client needs at last minute. Salary: £45,000 – £50,425 per annum, weekend overtime rate are paid at x1.5.
* Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday‑Friday, between 07:00‑17:00 but weekends and overnight will be required in line with the race calendar, flexibility is a must.
