📊 SC Cleared Data Engineer (Contract) – Outside IR35 | Liverpool (Hybrid) | Immediate Start
We’re partnering with a leading IT consultancy to secure an experienced SC Cleared Data Engineer for a long-term programme of work. This is a hybrid role based in Liverpool (3 days per week onsite), outside IR35, with an immediate start and a 2-year project.
🚀 The Role
You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising modern data platforms within a secure environment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can work independently, deliver high-quality data solutions, and confidently engage with stakeholders.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions
* Develop and optimise data workflows across modern cloud platforms
* Work with large, complex datasets to support analytics and reporting requirements
* Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
* Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and aligned with best practices
🛠️ Core Skills & Experience
* Active SC Clearance (essential)
* Strong experience as a Data Engineer in Azure environments
Hands-on expertise with:
* Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics
* Data Pipelines (ADF or similar) and/or Databricks
* Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms
* Ability to work independently and deliver in a secure, structured environment
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
