IT Service Desk 2nd Line Engineer
£32,000 per annum
Your role with us:
This role will be responsible for providing second line technical support and resolving complex IT issues for our internal stakeholders.
We are looking for people who have :
1. Significant experience working in a similar role providing second line technical support in a corporate IT environment.
2. Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues across multiple platforms, including Windows and macOS.
3. Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non technical stakeholders.
4. ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management best practices.
5. The technical expertise to thrive in a fast paced environment.
We are looking for people who are:
6. Qualified to degree level in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
7. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware software and network related problems, including experience with Active Directory, Office 365 and other enterprise systems.
8. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team oriented environment, with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
9. Passionate about delivering excellent IT support.
