Job Description:
The Role:
We are looking for a new IT Security Engineer to join our Technology team based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire. In this role, you will support the day-to-day Cyber Security of Dreams, providing technical support and development of our security systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring correct configuration of Azure security space
* Performing daily BAU checks and triage for firewall/web filter errors and threats
* Monitoring Cynet Threat Alerts
* Validating security emails
* Managing Cyberark dashboard and privilege requests
* Monitoring endpoint status and updates
* Managing Mimecast errors and threats
* Administering Cyberark PAM
* Assisting service desk with security issues
* Managing web filter and DMARC protection
* Maintaining security system updates and patches
* Escalating major issues
* Assisting with DPIAs and Risk register
The Person:
Ideal candidates will have:
o Vital experience with Microsoft Azure, including Microsoft Purview & Compliance, Defender, Entra ID Security, and Privileged Identity Management
o At least 2 years of proven experience in IT Security, preferably in retail or FMCG environments
o Understanding of security concepts like firewalls, web filtering, encryption, and threat management
o Familiarity with IT hardware and virtual environments
o Knowledge of ITIL principles and continuous improvement
o Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels
