Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Water Hygiene Engineer, based in Lisburn, with some flexibility for remote work. The Water Hygiene Engineer will oversee regular water monitoring, inspection, and sampling, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Daily tasks include water system testing, risk assessments, cleaning and maintaining tanks, and implementing water treatment services across various premises and sectors. The role also involves preparing reports and liaising with clients on compliance and maintenance protocols.
Qualifications
* Experience in Water Treatment and knowledge of water hygiene protocols
* Skills in Wastewater Treatment, Water Supply systems, and Water Distribution
* Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of Pump Stations
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements, including HSE and ACOP guidelines
* Ability to interpret technical data and conduct risk assessments
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel as needed locally
* Previous experience in water hygiene engineering or a related field is preferred
