As part of the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Procurement Manager to support our last-mile delivery operations. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence by managing the procurement of non-inventory goods and services across our AMZL network.
The responsibilities include managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including planning, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor performance. Your leadership and analytical skills will help identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and improve the reliability and efficiency of procurement activities across multiple delivery stations.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for non-inventory goods and services required by the AMZL network, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relationship management.
2. Establish and monitor key performance indicators for supplier management and procurement efficiency, producing regular reports to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and AMZL leadership to meet budgetary targets and operational objectives.
4. Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with Amazon’s standards, secure favorable terms, and foster procurement innovation.
5. Serve as the primary contact for resolving procurement-related issues, including inventory discrepancies, delivery challenges, and payment issues with suppliers.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, IT, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role
* At least 1 year of experience using MS Office, especially Excel and analytical platforms, with skills in data analysis using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
* Understanding of process flow with the ability to suggest improvements for cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits
Preferred Qualifications
* Supply Chain Management Certifications
* Experience working in a warehouse environment
