We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Crematorium Administrator.
Standard core hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work between Monday and Saturday, within the hours of 06:00 to 20:00.
You’ll be an integral part of the team, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Crematorium and providing an outstanding service to families. Working as part of a small team, you’ll provide a courteous, efficient, effective and dignified service to all clients through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation and aftercare service.

What to expect...
9. Manage, support and process all enquiries from members of the public and clients, accurately processing all the necessary arrangements for cremations.
10. Be responsible for the diary and all administration systems ensuring the smooth operation of the crematorium.
11. Promote, arrange and administer cremation services, memorialisation orders and aftercare services in-line with, statutory legislation.
12. Liaise with and assist funeral directors, clergy/officiants, the bereaved and members of the public and provide the highest possible standards of service.
13. Ensure all required documentation is completed and/or received in compliance with Company rules, regulations and statutory legislation. Liaising with external agencies and authorities as required.
14. Receive payments from clients and complete the administration of financial documentation.
15. Be responsible for the security of petty cash, premises and company equipment.
16. Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required in support of the Crematorium operation as required.
17. Being proactive in community activities to promote the Crematorium and End of life services.
What we're looking for...
18. IT literate and a competent user of MS Office.
19. Great communication skills.
20. Customer facing experience.
21. Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
22. Can display resilience and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
23. High level of understanding, empathy, and compassion.
Training...
24. Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we’ll provide full training.
25. Travel to other sites will be required.
