Description
As the Senior Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including reconciliations and ledger management.
Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
Manage receivable processes efficiently.
Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with current regulations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
Provide support during audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.Profile
A successful Senior Bookkeeper should have:
A strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial record management.
Familiarity with Xero accounting software and financial reporting tools.
An understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Previous experience in the business services industry is advantageous.Job Offer
