Job Description
About The Role: EKFB is a joint venture that combines expertise from four leading civil engineering companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. All partners specialize in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including Europe's latest high-speed rail projects.
We are recruiting a Project Control Manager/Lead for our Routewide team based in Milton Keynes or Brackley. In this role, you will set up and oversee Integrated Project Controls systems for complex, multidisciplinary programs. You should have proven experience managing project budgets, tracking actual costs, providing accurate forecasts (including Bill of Quantities and spend analysis), and creating executive dashboards, KPIs, variance analysis, and performance reports.
You will also identify, evaluate, and manage risks and opportunities, with strong NEC knowledge and proficiency in using earned value (EV) for performance measurement. Ensuring governance, supporting reviews of the Project Control Management Plan, and liaising with multiple teams and clients to ensure alignment are key responsibilities.
Qualifications include a degree or equivalent with a numerate qualification, experience with cost management systems in major civil engineering projects, and knowledge of construction scheduling using Primavera P6. Familiarity with CESMM4, NEC3 contracts, BIM concepts, and HS2 processes is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.
About The Company: EKFB has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope includes viaducts, green tunnels, road diversions, overbridges, and significant excavation works.
We are committed to improving lives, communities, and the environment through sustained employment, inclusiveness, and equality of opportunity. We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Please contact us for additional support if needed. Your CV may be shared with joint venture partners.
