As International Recruitment Support Officer you will be working with the Workforce Development Officer leading on the International Recruitment Sponsorship Project and play a vital role in supporting displaced workers who have lost their sponsorship visa. This role involves direct engagement with Adult Social Care providers, displaced workers and Government bodies to ensure the success and sustainability of the international recruitment project across South Yorkshire. In this role you will be part of the wider Workforce Development Team who deliver projects and services relating to Adult Social Care staff development, training and recruitment through Proud to Care but your primary focussing will be on recruitment to support with staff shortages within the Adult Social Care sector across Doncaster. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills as you will be responsible for arranging and meeting with displaced workers to collect information about their current employment status and give advice on the UK sponsorship visa process and Immigration rules to support them with recruitment. You will be responsible for checking documents on Right to Work, Disclosure and Barring Service and other legal documentation while working within GDPR and confidentiality rules. Following this you will match any suitable candidates to jobs within the care sector across Doncaster by liaising with care providers who hold sponsorship licences. Keeping up to date with the most recent legislation and processes on international recruitment is essential to be able to guide care providers through the process of obtaining sponsorship licences, certificate of sponsorship and claiming any funding for employing displaced workers. You will be responsible for accurately collecting and inputting data which is essential for reporting to the Home Office on this project.
