Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional (Risk) to join their Submarine Solutions team on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the planning, monitoring, and control activities for submarine projects
* Applying your expertise in risk controls to ensure project milestones are met
* Developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, and control mechanisms
* Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Providing insightful analysis and progress reports to support decision-making
* Ensuring compliance with BAE-Project Professional standards and methodologies
* Facilitating communication and coordination between on-site and remote teams
* Supporting the continuous improvement of project processes and controls
Job Requirements:
* Extensive experience in project planning, monitoring, and control in the Defence & Security sector
* Strong knowledge of risk management techniques
* Proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and risk registers
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Proven ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
* Engineering or project management degree or equivalent qualification
Contract Details:
* 6-month contract position
* Hybrid work model: 2 days on site every 2 weeks
