The Role
I’m working with a specialist legal team known for its expertise in criminal and regulatory defence, particularly in motor-related offences. As the team continues to grow, they’re looking to appoint an Lawyer to support on a caseload ranging from minor road traffic offences to serious injury, dangerous driving, and manslaughter cases.
In this role, you'll be supporting a senior lawyer by helping to investigate incidents, take witness statements, attend interviews under caution, and assist with the case through to resolution. The position involves direct client interaction, working closely with regulators, police, and experts, and attending both court hearings and inquests.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ Solicitor with 6–12 months’ experience in criminal defence, or someone from a legal aid background looking to move into private practice.
The Candidate
1. Qualified Solicitor with motor crime or criminal defence experience
2. Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing complex evidence
3. Excellent communication skills and client empathy
