ISS Facility Services are seeking People & Culture Compliance Manager to join their P&C Operations team.
Job Overview
This role acts as a trusted partner within the People & Culture function, ensuring strong compliance with UK employment legislation and internal Company policies. It plays a critical part in delivering a clear and effective internal assurance programme, supporting excellence in governance, documentation, and risk oversight.
Working closely with the Head of Reward & Compliance and the in‑house Employment Law team, the successful candidate will help the organisation remain audit‑ready and navigate key legislative changes, including those arising from the Employment Rights Bill.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, review and update People & Culture documentation within OneISS Way to ensure alignment with legislation and internal Company policy.
* Manage assurance activity and monitoring across key P&C risk areas.
* Work closely with the in-house Legal Employment team and other internal experts on compliance matters.
* Produce clear, consistent reporting on risk areas for key stakeholders, including the CLT.
* Support People & Culture projects with compliance expertise, including preparations for Employment Rights Bill changes.
* Respond promptly to internal and external audit requests and maintain ongoing audit readiness.
* Oversee compliance relating to minimum wage practices, right‑to‑work checks, modern slavery, whistleblowing and sexual‑harassment prevention.
* Track P&C business cases and maintain oversight of key people‑related compliance metrics.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in a similar compliance‑focused role.
* Background in compliance relating to specific legislation (e.g., vetting/screening) is beneficial.
* Auditing experience is ideal but not essential.
* CIPD qualification desirable but not required.
* Strong HR generalist experience with a passion for legislation and employment law may transfer well.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence working at management level.
