Overview
We are recruiting a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to support our UK Water business. The role is based in the UK and can be supported by a home office.
Your Role
* Develop InfoWorks ICM computer models to investigate wastewater network issues, identify investment needs and plan solutions.
* Analyse datasets to support modelling, option development and decision‑making.
* Provide expert guidance to clients to support informed asset investment decisions.
* Contribute to the preparation of reports and other project deliverables.
* Prepare and adhere to health and safety risk assessments.
* Support the preparation of tender responses and fee estimates (at higher grades).
* Supervise, mentor and develop staff (at higher grades).
* Contribute to technical innovation within the team.
About You
Proven experience in urban drainage modelling using InfoWorks ICM, ideally within the UK regulated water industry.
Proficiency in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or MapInfo.
Background in civil engineering or experience working with engineered solutions is desirable.
Core Requirements
* Experience in model build and verification, hydraulic and water quality analysis.
* Catchment planning and Wastewater Management Planning (DWMP) experience.
* Strong peer‑review skills and ability to deliver technically robust projects.
* Experience managing or technically supervising a team of wastewater modellers.
Desirable Qualifications
* BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng in Engineering, Hydrology, Geography/Geospatial sciences, Environmental Sciences.
* Professional qualifications such as CIWEM or ICE Chartership advantageous for senior roles.
Desirable Attributes
* Coordinating and delivering technically robust projects.
* Peer‑review skills and continuous improvement in client deliverables.
* Implementing industry‑leading approaches and innovative technical solutions.
* Experience overseeing report writing, reviewing and validating technical outputs.

Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. Vetting will be conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV). Proof of UK residency of 5 years or longer may be required.
