Job Title: Electroplating Engineer
Location: BirminghamSalary: Up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30/ Friday, 07.30 to 12.30Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Electroplating Engineer to join an established manufacturing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled plating professional to contribute to the production of high-end hardware using various metal plating processes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining plating quality, improving processes, and ensuring all work meets the companys exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities as an Electroplating Engineer:
* Monitor, maintain, and adjust chemical solutions to ensure consistent plating quality.
* Carry out regular quality inspections of plated components.
* Maintain and service plating equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Process parts through multiple chemical treatment and plating stages.
* Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
* Comply fully with company procedures and environmental, health and safety regulations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
* Minimum 4 years experience in metal electroplating, including plating on brass.
* Proven experience with Nickel, Chrome, and Copper plating processes.
* Proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to improve methods and processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Good standard of written and spoken English.
