Job Description
At Fedcap UK, our Employer Solutions Consultants play a vital role in supporting people from disadvantaged backgrounds to secure sustainable, meaningful employment. You’ll work closely with employers and customers, matching skills, values and opportunities to create life‑changing outcomes.
* Location: On‑site in Guildford with some community outreach.
* Salary: Starting salary £28,438 rising to £30,253 upon successful completion of the 9‑month probationary period review.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Act as an ambassador for Fedcap and the Restart Scheme, championing the benefits of sustainable employment for local businesses and jobseekers.
* Provide employers with high‑quality, tailored services from recruitment support to candidate preparation and adapt your approach to suit each business.
* Build strong relationships with local employers and initiatives to develop a portfolio of live vacancies.
* Support customers to develop their confidence, skills and readiness for work, including preparing them for interviews and job starts.
* Proactively market candidates to employers and identify new work opportunities.
* Consistently deliver against performance targets, ensuring excellent service and quality.
* Coach and mentor small groups of candidates, empowering them to carry out effective job searches independently.

* Experience in business development, account management, recruitment or sales, with a track record of working to targets.
* Experience in a customer‑focused service delivery environment.
* Proven ability to build rapport, motivate, understand and empower individuals.

Desirable
* Knowledge of local & regional labour markets.
* Awareness of employment legislation and safeguarding principles.
