The role of MTL is to lead, and supervise maintenance teams carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks, inspections, and defect rectification. The MTL is responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of their teams as well as looking after the development of the team.What you'll do:
* Maintenance oversight of individual and team activities ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and company standard
* Collaborates with colleagues, Shift Manager and Engineering Support Department to achieve targets for the department
* Provide technical leadership of teams maintenance tasks
* Organise and agree team work schedule and allocate tasks to deliver areas to agreed targets.
* Sign off work on completion within full scope of individual approval
Good technical decision making
* Good leadership and people skills
* PC literate, can work with Engineering systems and document management systems
* Effective communicator at all levels within the organisation
* Ability to work under pressure to timescales
Your experience:
* CAA Part 66 Licence, B1 or B2, A320 family type rating
* 3 years aircraft maintenance experience
* Experience in leading teams in an aircraft maintenance environment
* Working knowledge of engineering processes and procedures
