Are you the person product teams rely on when things feel messy?
Have you helped a growing product function become more structured, insight-led and scalable?
Do you enjoy improving how Product Managers work, while still staying hands-on with tools and data?
Our client is an established and growing organisation with a sizeable product function spanning multiple teams and regions. With over 20 Product Managers and Analysts already in place, they are now looking to appoint a
Business Analyst in the Product Management Function
to bring greater alignment, clarity and operational strength across the product community.
This is a newly created role designed to ensure product teams have the right processes, tooling and data to make confident, evidence-based decisions as the organisation continues to evolve.
Why This Role is Great
This position offers the chance to shape how a mature product function operates day to day while influencing its longer-term effectiveness.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Strengthen and standardise backlog management and roadmapping practices across several product teams
* Refine and optimise the use of tools such as JIRA and Productboard, ensuring they truly support delivery rather than slow it down
* Improve how product data is captured, analysed and surfaced so Product Managers can act with clarity
* Coach Product Managers on best practice and introduce practical improvements that raise overall capability
* Lead change initiatives that align teams and secure buy-in across different stakeholders
* Support closer collaboration between teams where shared roadmaps and dependencies require consistency
* Anticipate scaling challenges and introduce pragmatic solutions before complexity becomes friction
You will work closely with senior product leadership, acting as a trusted advisor while remaining a strong individual contributor who implements as well as recommends.
About You
You might currently be in Product Operations, Senior Product Management, Business Analysis or a similar operationally focused role. What matters most is your experience in helping product teams become more effective.
You are likely to bring:
* Experience supporting or scaling a mid-to-large product organisation
* A strong understanding of backlog management, roadmapping and product lifecycle frameworks
* Hands-on expertise with JIRA, Productboard and ideally product analytics tools
* Confidence configuring systems and improving workflows rather than simply suggesting changes
* Experience driving alignment across multiple teams or business areas
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority
* Exposure to working with distributed or international teams
* A practical, improvement-focused mindset
Experience supporting organisational growth or integration between teams would be particularly beneficial.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, who can design improvements and personally ensure they are delivered effectively.
The Opportunity
The product function is well established but operating with varied approaches across teams. As complexity increases, there is a real opportunity to introduce smarter alignment, clearer reporting and more efficient ways of working.
The successful Product Management Business Analyst will help bring structure without stifling autonomy, ensuring best practice spreads quickly and tools genuinely support better outcomes.
Hybrid working is available with three days per week in the Oxford office.
What's on Offer
* Competitive salary with flexibility depending on experience
* A high-impact role with visibility across the product leadership team
* The opportunity to shape how a sizeable product function operates
* Long-term career development as the organisation continues to grow
