We’re now on the lookout for a talented BDE Team Leader to guide and inspire our Birmingham-based Business Development Executives. What will you do?
As our BDE Team Leader, your mission is to coach, mentor, and inspire a team of Business Development Executives – from new starters to more experienced team members – helping them maximise performance and achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching and mentoring team members regularly to support their development
* Hitting your own individual sales targets alongside team objectives
* Collaborating with Sales Team Leaders to drive conversion and GP from opportunities
* Reporting team progress, risks, and concerns to the Head of BDE
* Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new BDEs
* Ensuring high levels of product knowledge and delivering relevant training
* Driving performance through pipeline management and strategy alignment
* Leading 1-2-1s and performance reviews
* Ensuring your team is equipped with the tools, training, and collateral they need to succeed
* Embedding the vision and sales strategy as defined by the Head of BDE
What you’ll need
* Strong telesales / cold calling background
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
* Solid understanding of sales processes and KPIs
* Confidence in giving constructive feedback and holding team members accountable
* A performance mindset with a focus on targets and outcomes
Nice to have
* Experience in B2B telesales in telecoms or IT industries
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
