Overview

This is a temporary receptionist role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves providing professional and high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as handling a range of administrative tasks.


Main duties of the job

As a receptionist at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, redirecting calls, and recording messages. You will also be required to complete reception-related administration, maintain databases, and provide administrative assistance as needed by the General Manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the tidiness of the reception area and liaising with the Housekeeping team to ensure high standards are maintained.


Job responsibilities

* Package Description: Shift pattern details; Monday to Sunday as per rota


About the role

Your focus as a receptionist will be to offer professional, high quality customer service as first point of contact within the home as well as providing a range of administrative services.

Other responsibilities will include:

* Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
* Completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing administrative assistance as required by the General Manager.
* Maintaining the general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.

Qualifications

* To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be confident in using computers. You should also have a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude, as well as previous experience in problem-solving and handling client complaints.
