About the Role
To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering flexible shift patterns to accommodate your lifestyle. Weekend work is a requirement, and flexibility with your work pattern may be needed.
Our in-store pharmacies are popular with customers, who expect friendly, confident service when discussing personal health issues, resolving problems, and guiding them to the right products. Responsibilities include assembling and processing prescriptions, promoting pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews), supporting patient services (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation schemes), and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
You will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and bring them to the store for collection. We will support your development through accredited courses to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant, advancing your pharmacy career.
About You
You are friendly, organized, and eager to work with your team to deliver excellent results. You possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and providing a great healthcare experience, assisting customers in finding what they need and engaging in friendly conversations.
