This is your chance to shape something from the ground up and make a real difference to the people who care for children every day.What you’ll do:As our Rota Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—owning the planning, optimisation, and delivery of team rotas across our services. Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Finance, and HR, you’ll ensure rotas are accurate, compliant, cost-effective, and most importantly, built with people in mind.You’ll lead on our workforce management system, turn data into insight, and help drive better decisions that directly impact the care we deliver and the wellbeing of our colleagues.What we’re looking for:Experience in rota planning, workforce coordination, or resource management—ideally in care, healthcare, or a similar settingConfidence using workforce management systems and rota planning toolsSharp eye for detail, with strong analytical and organisational skillsData-driven mindset—you know how to spot trends and make them work for youA collaborative approach—you’re comfortable engaging with colleagues across different departmentsAbility to balance operational needs, colleague wellbeing, and financial considerationsKnowledge of working time regulations or employment law is a bonusWhy join us?Competitive salary: £45,000, depending on your experienceBe part of a forward-thinking organisation with a powerful missionHelp shape a new role and make it your ownWork with supportive, passionate teams who value inclusion, integrity, and impactWilderness Way is one of the UK’s leading providers of residential care, health, and education for children who have experienced trauma and exploitation.
