: Process Operator Role Overview: Huntsman is currently recruiting for a Process Operator at our chemical manufacturing site in Llanelli, South Wales. As part of a shift team of Operators you will be responsible for providing a flexible resource for a number of production areas across a lower Tier COMAH site, operating plant equipment and chemical process. Apply today Role Responsibilities: Operate continuous and batch chemical process and utility units through both field operation and control room DCS operation. Perform regular process unit checks, taking samples for laboratory analysis and adjusting process operations as necessary. Directed by the Lead Operator to carry out specific duties to maintain optimised operation of the production units. Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and address equipment issues promptly. Prepare the production unit for maintenance activities such as plant wash outs and isolation of process equipment. Responsible for safely offloading high hazard materials to site storage tanks. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with Huntsman Corporate EHS and Business Conduct Policies and guidelines. Experience and Competencies: What we are looking for: Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Process Operator. Preferably, experience in the chemical industry; however, candidates with relevant experience in other industries will be considered. Preferably, Process Plant Operations (PPO) level 3 qualification or equivalent such as BTEC / C&G or NVQ level 3. Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot chemical processes and equipment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a shift-based environment. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
